What kind of projects does SMP Constructions take up?
We build for the industrial, power, institutional and infrastructure sectors: chemical and pharma plants, power projects, wind and solar foundations, commercial buildings, roads, piling, dewatering and marine structures.
Which areas do you work in?
Our head office is in Bharuch, close to the Dahej, Ankleshwar, Jhagadia and Panoli industrial estates. We work throughout Gujarat and in Maharashtra and Rajasthan, and have delivered wind and solar work in Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
Do you have your own machinery?
Yes. We own and operate batching plants, concrete and boom pumps, transit mixers, tower cranes, excavators, rollers, survey instruments and site testing laboratories, so critical work stays under our control.
What certifications do you hold?
SMP Constructions is ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (occupational health and safety) certified, and holds the NSIC-CRISIL SE 2B rating.
How do you manage safety on site?
HSE is part of project planning. We provide PPE, follow safe operating procedures, run toolbox talks and HSE training, and encourage everyone on site to report concerns. GACL-NALCO recognised us for ten million safe man-hours at the GNAL site.
